We rode mountain bikes around Bay Creek today. Here are some pictures.
Please forgive the ignorant question, but why does the pictured wheel have the plate in it?
Also, you may be interested to know there were TWO 7th Kentucky Infantry Regiments in the Civil War. One fought for the Union and one fought for the Confederacy. The grave marker, obviously, is for a fellow who fought in the Union Army.
That’s very interesting information. The grave has maybe one or two others around it, and its in the middle of nowhere.
The question is far from ignorant because its the only one that I’ve ever seen and was homemade. When riding our lost and secret trails the greatest threat is a small stick getting lodged in your spokes then getting pulled by the chain into the gap between the derailluer and cassette causing the derailluer to get bent or to break off completely. This was Eli’s attempt to create an anti stick device, which is thin gauge aluminum ziptied to the spokes. It seems to work.
